Feels Like Home
Nestled in the rolling hills just outside San Diego, this countryside celebration was the perfect blend of laid-back California charm and elevated romance. With soft golden light, intentional details, and an effortless sense of ease, it was the kind of wedding that felt both timeless and deeply personal, exactly the kind of story we love to tell.
There are weddings that feel like magic and then there are weddings that feel like home. This one was both.

Held at the stunningly lush Willow Creek Events in Vista, California, this celebration was especially meaningful because it brought me back to my roots. As someone who grew up in San Diego County, returning to this landscape, full of golden light, mature trees, and even a lavender field, felt like an old love letter to home.

A Minimalist Vision With Heart
The couple’s style was minimal and refined. Everything had intention. From classic ivory florals to a clean palette of black, white, and green, the aesthetic was timeless but deeply personal.
What made it extra special? The groom—handy and creative—built many of the wooden statement pieces you’ll see throughout the event. There’s something beautiful about couples putting their hands and hearts into the day. It wasn’t just their wedding, it was them, in every sense.

Real Moments
The highlight of the day wasn’t a grand gesture or over-the-top installation. It was watching them share private vows, hand in hand. That moment under the tree said everything about who they are: grounded, intentional, and deeply connected.
The energy of the entire day was full of life. From emotional toasts to a dance floor that never emptied, the energy was wild in the best way.

Intentional Details
Some of the most memorable touches included:
- A dirty soda bar that felt like the perfect personal treat
- Lush, layered florals in creamy whites and soft greens
- A laid-back, joyful energy that everyone felt from start to finish
- Incredible catering by Bekker’s Catering (if you know, you know—San Diego locals rave for a reason!)
A Day You Won’t Forget
This wedding reminded me why I do what I do. It was joyful, honest, and beautifully true to who they are. If you’re planning a celebration that reflects your story in subtle, soulful ways, I’d love to help you bring it to life.
